          The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. Special services are held on Holy Thursday, and an Easter Sunrise service and breakfast. During the season of Lent, Reverend Starnes delivers a series of sermons.

            The season of Lent is a time of reflection, repentance and renewal, culminating in the celebration of the promise of life eternal and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. It is our hope that all of us will be faithful in our devotion and commitment during this season; faithfully attending services and reaching out to neighbors, family and friends to join us here.
